I am currently studying towards a degree in 'Design' and have started this blog to share my creative scribbles with like-minded people, as well as documenting my thoughts and experiences along the way. My aim in life is to be one of those ever-so lucky folk who can honestly say 'I love my job' and I would love to pursue a career within the design field. I have a keen interest in illustration (particularly in children's books) and enjoy using traditional methods of painting and drawing and seeing them come to life on a computer. 

I am still learning and growing as a designer each day, and I hope this blog will become a little online diary of my creative journey.
 

I come from a 'Fine Art' background and have a passion for painting and drawing. I find it all very therapeutic and there's nothing I love more than putting pen to paper and creating something. I also like working with textiles - you'll often find me sat at my sewing machine with a mug of tea and a bar of chocolate making my own 'plush characters' and cushions..

In my spare time i also run a personal lifestyle blog. I walked into it knowing nothing about blog design and have managed to build up a bit of knowledge over the past 2 years; I thought I'd put it to good use and I felt inspired to create 'Hello Little Bird blogs'.. a place where I could display some of my work, share some inspiration and chit-chatter away until my hearts content about arty-crafty stuff...
